Designs

Keegan also has graphic design experience and has offered his services in volunteer and freelancing capacities.

Keegan aptly uses Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop to create designs that are eye-catching, informational and pleasing to the eye.

Designed to be Informative

As the Communications Specialist at Community Consolidated School District 146, Keegan creates the content and design of many materials that get sent out on behalf of the District, its five schools, and its many programs. Below are three examples of informational brochures for School District 146.

The District 146 Brochure was created to give audiences a wide view of the District as a whole. The piece was taken to local community events and distributed to realtors.

Keegan worked with various department heads to gather information and determine the most important facts to showcase in the brochure.

The trifold brochure was created in Adobe InDesign and printed in full-color.
The District 146 Early Learning Department requested two brochures to highlight their two programs: Bridges (Birth to Three) and Pre-Kindergarten (Three to Five). To maintain consistency with the Early Learning Department, similar designs were used for both brochure.

Keegan worked with the Early Learning Department to gather the necessary information, and cull it to fit in the available space. The department wanted a request form included that could be returned to the School District office.

Trifold brochures were created in Adobe Illustrator and printed in full-color. Each brochure was translated and printed in three languages: English, Spanish, and Arabic. The content was sent for translation in a Word Document, then Keegan transferred the translations to the InDesign Designs.

Designed for Development

I Care International is a nonprofit organization with the goal to "help others improve their quality of life by providing the gift of better vision and health." I Care sends volunteers and optometrists on mission trips to provide free eyeglasses and eye care.

I Care International asked Keegan to create a brochure that included information on the organization, along with a portion for potential donors to complete and return.

Keegan developed a four-fold, landscape brochure with a detachable bottom section to be returned with a donation by the recipient. The brochure also included an outside section for an address and stamp, to eliminate the need for an envelope.

Designed to be Distinctive

While volunteering for Citizens for Careen Gordon, Keegan was asked to design a selection of candidate signs for the campaign season. Using the campaign's signature color, I was able to create sign options using Adobe InDesign.
