While still in high school, Keegan got a taste of journalism when began working for a local newspaper as a correspondent. He took photos at local events, covered village and school board meetings, interviewed community leaders, and wrote feature articles. After his first foray into communications, he never looked back.
In 2007, Keegan graduated from the University of St. Francis with a Bachelors of Art in Mass Communication with concentrations in Public Relations, Advertising, and Journalism. He has been honing and utilizing those skills ever since.
Keegan's experience includes work with nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and state government. He has also volunteered with local nonprofit organizations and offers freelance communications services.
